Colanar™ FSP-1000 Peristaltic Pump

The Colanar™ peristaltic pump type FSP-1000 has been developed specifically with pharmaceutical and biotechnology liquid filling applications in mind.  It features a very high filling accuracy, an extended filling tube life cycle, and a wash down exterior.  The pump head is mounted directly to the base plate of the isolator and is easily removable from the base for cleaning and sterilization.  The controls, including the PLC control system and servo drive controllers, are located inside a separate cabinet.  Operation and recipe development is intuitive via the touch screen.

Colanar has released a cart system to retrofit existing machinery not currently utilizing peristaltic technology. The cart is designed to house up to 10 individual FSP peristaltic pumps and can be positioned next to machinery at the point of filling. Once each head has undergone calibration, a single lead is all that is needed to tie the cart into the machine's PLC. Complete control can be assumed from the machine control panel as usual.
